Youth B/A/Jr Boulder Qualifier #2 Cancelled

The OCF’s participation in Blocbuster at Climber’s Rock on Feb 8th has unfortunately been cancelled.

We heard the many community concerns and unfortunately could not find a way to make it work. This isn’t an ideal situation for the broader season or the gym but we felt compelled to listen to our membership and stakeholders.

We still think the comp within a comp model is viable with more time and community consultation - though perhaps not the best fit with Youth categories (anecdotally, we have heard that it’s been proven to be successful in both Quebec and BC).

We would still strongly encourage everyone to compete at (and support) Blocbuster which is sure to live up to its past reputation as a fun and memorable competition. For those already registered and wishing to withdraw, Climber’s Rock will have information shortly on refunds.
