Feb 2 UPDATE - Speed Nationals Application Process
Jan 30 UPDATE - OCF Qualified Athletes

This event is organized by Climbing Escalade Canada. Please visit CEC’s Event Central page for information about the event.

Application

Youth D, C, B, A, Junior and Adult athletes are eligible to compete at CEC Senior Boulder Nationals, and there will be a combined Senior category as well.

As per the OCF Rules, only athletes who participated at the Speed Provincials on Sunday, January 28, 2024 are eligible to compete in Speed Nationals. However, understanding individuals may have not been able to attend the Speed Provincials, the OCF is opening this application process for individuals who wish to attend Nationals.

Please click here to submit your application.

Please submit your applications by Monday, February 5 at 5pm.

** Applications will be assessed individually on an ongoing basis to give athletes enough time to book their travel and accommodation.

The OCF will register qualified athletes in Vertical Life.

2023 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO OCF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The OCF is seeking candidates for our Board of Directors. There are up to three (3) open positions for a two-year term (2023-2025). Information on our nominations process is included in the attached Information Package.

These are exciting times of growth and development for the OCF. Since the last AGM we have:

  • Hired our Executive Director

  • Created and implemented an independent complaint process and a first-ever Strategic Plan

  • Become the officially recognized provincial sport organization for climbing in Ontario.

Our continued success depends on having a strong Board of Directors and other volunteers to support the organization.

We are hoping to build a team with a broad range of combined skills and experience. If you are passionate about sport climbing and would like to help shape the future of competition climbing in Ontario, we ask you to please consider joining the Board.

Applications and any questions should be submitted to the OCF Nominations Committee at: nominations@climbontario.ca.

Application deadline: Wednesday, November 8th, 2023.
