CEC Senior Nationals Update
The list of qualified athletes for the CEC Senior Boulder and Lead Nationals is now available! This includes athletes pre-qualified by the CEC and those who earned their spot through the recent OCF Boulder and Lead Provincials.
Selection Process:
The OCF received an allocation of 20 spots per gender for each event.
The first 20 spots were awarded based on our established Selection Policy.
New Season, New Approach:
This season, we've aligned with other provinces and the CEC by separating the senior and youth seasons, as announced in April. This allows us to select the provincial team based on current performance at provincial events.
Fairness for All:
To ensure fairness for athletes who qualified at last season's provincials, we've combined the eligibility lists from both seasons. Any overlaps will be addressed using our extra quota spots. This may explain why some names appear on the list even if they didn't compete this season. This approach ensures a smooth transition for next year.
We are also accepting applications for extra quota spots for the following:
5 extra quota - MALE LEAD
4 extra quota - MALE BOULDER
