Junction Hosts Exhilarating Season Finale

The OCF would like to thank Junction Climbing Centre in London, ON for hosting a season-finale event that had the entire crowd on its feet. The athletes were well and truly tested throughout the qualification round on Saturday, and Sunday’s finals were even more challenging. The athletes rose to the occasion, showcasing their incredible talent as they worked to top their route.

Our volunteers, judges, and technical staff helped facilitate a great event, and the Junction staff, route setters, and volunteers were integral to the success of the competition. Ultimately, though, our athletes put in the work and the effort - and the show! - that keeps us coming back for more. Thank you for a great season, climbers!

CEC Youth Lead Nationals - Qualification

The OCF has received ten (10) spots per category to Youth Lead Nationals.

The OCF’s quota will be allocated according to our published Selection Policy:

• The top eight (8) athletes at OCF Lead Provincial Championships will receive spots automatically.

• We will fill the remaining two (2) spots - as well as any declined top eight spots or any extra quota received from CEC - through an application process.

If you did not finish in the top 8 at OCF Lead Provincials, please submit an application if you wish to be considered for a spot at Nationals. Click here for the Application Form. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 14 at 5pm.

Registration Instructions

Qualified athletes should register directly with CEC: https://member.climbingcanada.ca.

Please note that CEC’s registration system is completely separate from the OCF’s and requires a different username and password. You will need to purchase a 2022-2023 CEC license and then register and pay for the competition.

CEC Registration deadline: May 4, 2023.

The OCF will take care of registering Ontario athletes in Vertical Life.

OCF Series Awards

At the end of the season we will recognize the top three (3) athletes in each category from Youth D through Adult based on overall rankings across all three disciplines.
