For full details, please see Section 11 of our Rules (https://www.climbontario.ca/rules).

Format - Youth C

The Qualification Round for Youth C will run using the CEC/IFSC Flash Format. There will be 6 problems per category. Athletes will climb 3 problems at a time, 5 on/5 off, with a break in between sets of 3 problems according to a running order. Beta videos will be provided in advance. Athletes are allowed to watch other athletes climb, may share beta while warming up and may share beta while in a rest chair in between attempts. However, no beta is allowed while an athlete is climbing.

The Final Round for Youth C will run using the IFSC semi-final format, with strict Isolation rules. Each category will climb 4 problems, 5 on/5 off, with a running order from last qualifier to first qualifier. The quota to Finals is based on the number of athletes registered in each category from the Qualification Round.
