Eligibility
Youth B, Youth A and Junior athletes are eligible to compete at CEC Youth Boulder Nationals.
Pre-Qualified Athletes
The following athletes have received an invitation from CEC direct to Nationals.
Jacqueline Ho (Youth A Female), based on YWCh - Boulder results and status as reigning National Champion
Evangelina Briggs (Youth A Female), based on YWCh - Boulder results
Christian Chan (Youth B Male), based on YWCh - Boulder results
Graciela Briggs (Youth B Female), based on YWCh - Boulder results
These athletes are pre-qualified based on past performance and do not take up OCF quota spots.
OCF Quota and Selection Policy
The OCF has received five (5) spots per category direct to CEC Youth Boulder Nationals (bypassing Regionals). Following our published Selection Policy, these spots will be allocated to the top five athletes in each category at OCF Boulder Provincials.
An additional ten (10) Ontario athletes will compete at Youth Boulder Regionals East (please see the Youth Boulder Regionals event page for more detail on how these spots will be allocated). These athletes will also have the chance to qualify for Youth Boulder Nationals, as the top fifteen (15) in each category at each of Youth Boulder Regionals East and Youth Boulder Regionals West will advance to Youth Boulder Nationals.

Registration Instructions
Qualified athletes should register directly with CEC: https://member.climbingcanada.ca.
Please note that CEC’s registration system is completely separate from the OCF’s and requires a different username and password. You will need to purchase a 2022-2023 CEC license and then register and pay for the competition.
CEC Registration deadline: May 4, 2023.
The OCF will take care of registering Ontario athletes in Vertical Life.
