Membership and Competition Registration Now Open

October 10, 2023 (Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Climbing Federation has opened membership and competition registration for our 2023-24 season. We are very excited for the new season to start, and we will have several announcements over the next few days, including information on our Annual General Meeting, updates to competition formats, and additional dates of competitions for the second half of the season in 2024, along with a few other bits of information.

Individuals are now able to login and register as athletes, coaches, and supporters for the season and prepare to participate in our first few competition dates this fall. “We want to thank all our members for their patience as we continue to prepare for the competition season. There have been a significant number of hurdles to jump through as we navigate planning for the back half of the season in the new year, but in the meantime, we are now in a position to begin the registration process,” said Nathan Abdelnour, Executive Director for the OCF.

Members will notice there have been some increases to our membership dues for 2023-24, as well as slight increases to competition dues. “While increasing costs is never the optimal solution, it is unfortunately one of the actions the OCF needs to undertake in order to deliver on our competition schedule.” said Nathan. “As we address some of the pressure inflation has imposed upon our operating budget, the Board of Directors has approved a slight increase in almost all our categories for registration and competition.”
