OCF Competition Update

March 4, 2024 (Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Climbing Federation has a few important updates to pass along to our membership in advance of the final few upcoming competition dates. Please take note of these updates below and click on the website links for further information.

Boulder Qualifier 2 – B/A/Jr/Adult

FORMAT UPDATE:
The format for the qualifying round for this competition will be a modified Redpoint, or a hybrid scramble format.

  • Each age category and gender will have 8 problems to try and complete

  • Every athlete will have a maximum of 8 attempts per problem

  • There will be a 3- or 4-hour time limit to each qualifying round

  • Finals will revert back to the ISO, 4-problem, 5-on 5-off format

  • The OCF Rules have been updated to reflect this change

Registration for this event will be open until Wednesday, March 6 @ 5pm.

Boulder Provincials - D/C/B/A/Jr/Adult
March 23-24, 2024
The Core Climbing (Cambridge, ON)

LOCATION UPDATE:
Boulder Provincials will now be taking place at The Core Climbing Gym in Cambridge, ON. Additional information, including possible hotel arrangements, will be announced on Tuesday, March 5.

QUALIFICATION UPDATE:
The OCF will be announcing all qualification information on Monday, March 11.
